PC Vault is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help users keep their private information or sensitive data in a password-protected environment, called a vault.
The user interface is intuitive enough to allow you to configure the dedicated parameters without having to consult a help manual or read online tutorials.
PC Vault gives you the possibility to create a vault where the information is encrypted by providing details about the volt name and setting up passwords.
What’s more, you copy or move data to the vault using “drag and drop” operations, create a new folder, insert text notes, and generate a list with passwords by specifying the title, username, password, URL, and additional comments.
The program lets you change the icon size for the documents stored in the vault, automatically lock the tool after a user-defined time, clear the clipboard content after a given time, and remain on top of other applications.
Other notable characteristics worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to extract the file or directories from the vault, pick the encryption algorithm, automatically create backups, as well as export the vault settings to a file.
During our testing we have noticed that PC Vault carries out a task quickly and leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
